Speaking of bright lights…
As we enter a new year, WWA staff will be working to shine more bright lights on the positive impacts of our work and yours. Watch upcoming blogs, social media posts, and Wetland Coffee breaks for stories illustrating how WWA’s work is helping to build state and local capacity for wetlands conservation, expanding the wetland community, and resulting in more and better voluntary wetland protection and restoration work.
First up is a Wetland Coffee Break on January 16th on The Importance of State Agency Collaborations for Effective Wetlands Conservation. WWA’s Policy Programs Director Erin O’Brien will share perspectives on why expanding state agency collaborations is essential to advancing WWA’s mission, and will share examples of how WWA has helped multiple state agencies expand their use of wetlands as solutions.
