Our Board of Directors
Wisconsin
Wetlands Association was established in 1969 to protect the state's
wetland resources through education, training, advocacy, and research
on key issues that affect wetlands. To our knowledge, WWA is the first and oldest statewide
organization focused exclusively on wetland protection. More than
1450 members include wetland scientists and educators, conservationists,
hunters, concerned citizens, and local and regional organizations.
Our newsletter, Wisconsin Wetlands,
is received by more than 1,500 individuals and organizations quarterly.
Our Wetland News emails contain information on wetland related field trips, talks, volunteer opportunities, and available outreach materials, as well as about upcoming events like our Wetland Restoration Workshops and annual Wetland Science Conference. Wetland Alerts are periodic emails related to time-sensitive wetland advocacy and policy issues that provide background information and details to empower the public to voice their concern for the future of Wisconsin’s wetlands.
Please consider joining Wisconsin Wetlands Association today!
