Overview of the Wetland Gems Program
In May 2009, WWA launched our new Wetland Gems program, which aims to increase public awareness of and appreciation for all of the state's wetlands and to generate community pride in and commitment to stewardship of local wetland treasures that have statewide, national, and even international importance. This publication includes information on how sites were selected, ideas for citizen and community involvement, a visitor’s guide, and a list and map of the Wetland Gems sites. We have also created a fact sheet for each site with photographs and information on site ecology, significance, flora, fauna, threats and access.

Wetland Restoration Handbook, 2nd Edition
A. Thompson & C. Luthin

We are pleased to announce that the second edition of the Wetland Restoration Handbook for Wisconsin Landowners has been awarded the Distinguished Document Award for 2004 by the Wisconsin Library Association.
