Education is the key to all of our successful activities. Our
workshops reach out to people interested in wetland restoration,
protecting wetlands from invasive species, and educators interested
in bringing wetland materials to their classrooms. Our publications
are all designed to provide useful, concise wetland-related information
to as wide an audience as possible. Finally, our events allow
people with wetland interests to get together, learn and experience
the diversity and beauty of wetlands in Wisconsin.
Advocacy and education programs go hand-in-hand in our organization.
Wisconsin Wetlands Association believes that nearly everyone will
be interested in preserving our wetlands heritage when given the
facts about wetlands, their value, function, and beauty. Through
a combination of direct contact with decision makers and grassroots
organizing, WWA is an effective and powerful voice for the protection
of Wisconsin's wetland resources.
Please take a moment to learn about our programs, events, and
publications. We'd love to see you at one of our workshops or
public events. If you're interested in any of our programs, don't
