>> Ways to support WWA
At Wisconsin Wetlands Association, we depend on the financial support of individuals to carry out our mission. In 2005, fully 30% of our budget came from the support of individuals and families. At a time when governmental budgets are being tightened, putting at risk many government-sponsored conservation funding programs, we cannot rely on government grants to carry out our work. This makes support from individuals even more important.
The support we receive from individuals allows us to address many of Wisconsin’s wetlands’ most basic needs - from advocacy at the state capitol against legislation that is harmful to wetlands and waterways, to programs for landowners on wetland restoration techniques, to science-based education about the impacts of invasive species on wetland health and function. Please help us be able to continue this important work by supporting Wisconsin Wetlands Association - do your part to make a difference for the survival and health of Wisconsin’s wetlands.
