Wisconsin Wetlands Association developed the Wetland News and Wetland Alert Email Network as another way to keep in touch with our members and other wetland enthusiasts about wetland issues. Our subscription-based Email Network currently has more than 2600 active subscribers from around the state and region. Your privacy is important to us: we never sell or share email addresses.

We distribute two different email resources through this Network:

Wetland News
Interested in finding out about wetland programs, resources, volunteer opportunities, and news? Wetland News emails contain information about wetland field trips and talks, workshops and courses (including our Wetland Science Forum and wetland restoration workshops), funding opportunities for wetland projects, volunteer opportunities, and publications. They also contain occasional "issue updates" -- reporting on advocacy issues that we have covered in previous Wetlands Alert emails -- as well as informative "wetlands in the news" stories. You can sign up for a "General Interest" subscription and receive all Wetland News emails, or sign up to receive only editions of Wetland News that contain the kind of news you want.

Interested in being a citizen advocate for Wisconsin’s wetlands? Wetland Alerts are periodic emails related to time-sensitive wetland advocacy and policy issues. We keep you informed of opportunities to make your voice heard on wetland-related legislation, administrative rule-making, wetland fill permit applications, etc.
