The Wetland Resource Directory contains contact and expertise information for wetland-focused researchers, regulators, consultants, educators, conservation professionals and associations, and other people who can help you to understand, enjoy, protect, restore, and appreciate Wisconsin's wetlands. There are several ways of searching the Directory including by location, by expertise, by a combination of location and expertise, or by a full text search:

Records in the Directory represent individuals, rather than organizations, and are submitted and updated by these individuals. We welcome your assistance in making this directory as complete as it can practically be. If you know someone who should be listed in the database, please refer them to this website.

Search By Location and/or Expertise

If you would like to contact someone in a specific geographic location, do so by entering the city, state, county and/or river basin that you would like to focus your search on. If you would like to contact someone with expertise in a specific wetland topic, do so by choosing from the list of professional categories and expertise topics. Hold down the Ctrl button to make multiple selections within any data field that is a value list (eg. counties).

Keep in mind that choosing search conditions in multiple data fields will narrow your search. If your search results in too few records, try broadening your search by selecting fewer search conditions. If your search results in a list that is longer than desired, hone in on the experts that meet your needs by adding more conditions to your search.
