CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Abstract Submission Deadline - November 12, 2004

Wisconsin Wetlands Association and Wisconsin Coastal Management Program invite you to submit an abstract for presentation. Presentations should be 15 or 30 minutes in length and focus on coastal wetlands. We welcome presentations on coastal wetlands from all of the Great Lakes, as long as the content of the presentation applies to Wisconsin.
Topics of particular interest include:
Biodiversity of Great Lakes coastal wetlands
Use of Great Lakes coastal wetlands by migratory birds
Invasive species in Great Lakes coastal wetlands
Effects of changes in Great Lakes water levels on coastal
Effects of climate change on Great Lakes coastal wetlands
Effects of nutrient loading on Great Lakes coastal wetlands
Monitoring and development of indicators of coastal wetlands health
Restoration of Great Lakes coastal wetlands and coastal watersheds
Coastal wetland science with implications for Great Lakes policy decisions
Science-based efforts by citizen groups to monitor, restore or protect coastal wetlands
INSTRUCTION FOR SUBMITTING ABSTRACTS
The deadline for submitting abstracts is November 12, 2004. Please complete an Abstract Submission Form with a title, short abstract (limit 300 words), and A/V requirements. Electronic copies of abstracts are required - to submit an abstract, please email completed form it to programs@wiscwetlands.org. Presenters will be notified of acceptance by December 1, 2004.
We ask that presenters register and pay the appropriate registration fees in order to help cover conference costs. We encourage presenters to register by December 20, 2004 in order to receive the early registration rate. A limited number of scholarships to attend the conference are available for students and others with demonstrated need - email programs@wiscwetlands.org to request a scholarship application.
