STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

As we have in recent years, thanks to the generosity of our Student Scholarship Sponsors, The Nature Conservancy in Wisconsin and We Energies, we are pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships for students with demonstrated need to enable these students to attend the conference. Scholarships cover registration costs for recipients, and may be able to offset a portion of travel costs.

The WWA Student Scholarship Application for the Urban Wetlands has closed. Thank you for your interest.

Other sources of funding for students may include:

  • Society of Wetland Scientists. If you are a student member of the Society of Wetland Scientists, be aware that the North Central Chapter has, in recent years, offered a Student Travel Grant program that has provided selected students financial support to attend professional meetings in the North Central region, such as WWA's conference. Check the chapter website for more information.
  • The Wetland Foundation provides travel grants for students to attend wetland-focused conferences.
