CONFERENCE REGISTRATION - Early Bird Deadline - December 15, 2007

REGISTRATION FEES
Registration fees reflect the costs to provide this conference. Thank you for understanding that it is critical that we cover the costs associated with hosting this event. Note: Presenters receive a $15 discount (equivalent of one lunch).
Registration fees include:

  • Access to all conference sessions and field trips

  • Lunch on both days as well as coffee and refreshments throughout

    * Register before December 15, 2007 to take advantage of early bird registration rates above (add $20 to your registration after December 15)
    ** Join WWA with your conference registration to take advantage of reduced member registration rates. Basic membership starts at just $30/year, so registration savings will more than cover your membership!
    *** A limited number of scholarships (for registration and travel) to attend the conference are available for students and others with demonstrated need. To be considered for a scholarship, please complete a scholarship application form and email it to admin@wisconsinwetlands.org by Friday, December 7, 2007. Scholarship recipients will be notified by Wednesday, December 12, 2007.

    NOTE: If you are a student member of the Society of Wetland Scientists, we encourage you to apply to the North Central Chapter's Student Travel Grant program, which provides selected students financial support to attend professional meetings such as WWA's conference.

    REGISTRATION CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
    WWA will refund registration payments for cancellations made on or before Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made after January 16th - within two weeks of the conference - because of costs incurred by our organization (for meals, printed materials, etc.). Cancellations can be made by phone (608-250-9971), email (
    admin@wisconsinwetlands.org) or mail (postmark must be on or before January 16; mail to 222 S. Hamilton St. #1 Madison, WI 53703). Substitute participants are welcome, but please notify our office of substitutes by Monday, January 28. Thank you for understanding our need for this policy.     To register for the conference, simply complete a registration form and return it to WWA along with your registration payment. We prefer that you pay for registration fees by check because it saves us credit card transaction fees. However, if you would like to pay by credit card, you may do so by completing the credit card payment section on your registration form.

    BANQUET
    This ticketed event is open both to conference participants ($32) and the general public ($36). Dinner entree choices include Chicken Champignon, grilled breast of chicken stuffed with wild mushrooms, and Baked Zucchini Parmesan with layered roasted vegetables. Purchase a banquet ticket with your conference registration (see registration form above) or by calling WWA at 608-250-9971.

    ACCOMMODATIONS - OLYMPIA CENTER
    WWA has reserved a block of rooms at the Olympia Resort & Conference Center, the facility where all of the indoor elements of our conference program will be held. Reserve your room by Friday, January 18, 2008 in order to take advantage of the low group rate that the Olympia Center is offering WWA conference participants:

    WWA GROUP RATES & RESERVATIONS -- Group room rate extended until January 18; (regular room rate is $130)

    DIRECTIONS TO OLYMPIA CENTER
    Olympia is located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, about half-way between Milwaukee and Madison, and conveniently located less than 2 miles off of Interstate 94.

    Directions from Chicago: North on I-94 toward Milwaukee. Take the 894 bypass, which rejoins I-94 west to Madison. Approx. 25 miles to Oconomowoc exit #282 (Hwy 67). Right on Hwy 67, 1 1/2 miles on left.

    Directions from Madison: East towards Milwaukee on I-94 approx. 50 Miles to Oconomowoc exit #282 (Hwy 67). Left on Hwy 67, 1 1/2 miles on left.

    Directions from Milwaukee: West toward Madison on I-94 25 miles to Oconomowoc exit #282 (Hwy 67). Right on Hwy 67, 1 1/2 miles on left.
