REGISTRATION FEES
Registration fees reflect the costs to provide this conference. The increase in fees this year reflects the fact that for the first time we are providing lunch on both days of the conference at the request of the majority of last year's participants. Thank you for understanding that it is critical to our organization that we cover the costs associated with hosting this event. Note: Presenters receive a $15 registration discount (equivalent of one lunch).

Registration fees include:
  • Access to all conference sessions and field trips
  • Printed conference program with abstracts
  • Lunch on both days as well as coffee and refreshments throughout
  • Canvas bag featuring our new riverine wetlands logo
  • Early Bird Rates*Both Days Thursday onlyFriday only
    WWA Members $115 $70 $60
    Non-members** $145 $90 $70
    Students*** $50 $35 $25

    * Register before December 15, 2006 to take advantage of early bird registration rates above (add $20 to your registration after December 15th)
** Join WWA with your conference registration to take advantage of reduced member registration rates. Basic membership starts at just $30/year, so registration savings will pay for your membership!
*** A limited number of scholarships (for registration and travel) to attend the conference are available for students and others with demonstrated need. To be considered for a scholarship, please complete a scholarship application form and email it to programs@wiscwetlands.org by Friday, December 8, 2006. Scholarship recipients will be notified by Tuesday, December 12, 2006.

    REGISTRATION CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
WWA will refund registration payments for cancellations made on or before Friday, January 19, 2007. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made after January 19th - within two weeks of the conference - because of costs incurred by our organization (for meals, printed materials, etc.). Cancellations can be made by phone (608-250-9971), email (
admin@wiscwetlands.org) or mail (postmark must be on or before January 19; mail to 222 S. Hamilton St. #1 Madison, WI 53703). Substitute participants are welcome, but please notify our office of substitutes by Monday, January 29. Thank you for understanding our need for this policy. Please call 608-250-9971 if you have any questions.

Download Registration Form (PDF, ~0.4 MB)
To register for the conference, simply complete a registration form (link above) and return it to WWA along with your registration payment. We prefer that you pay for registration fees by check because it saves us credit card transaction fees. However, if you would like to pay by credit card, you may do so by completing the credit card payment section on your registration form.

    BANQUET
This ticketed event is open both to conference participants ($30) and the general public ($35). Dinner entree choices include Wild Mushroom Ravioli (vegetarian) topped with alfredo sauce and drizzled with roasted red pepper coulis as well as Stuffed Breast of Chicken, with spinach stuffing and a Veloute sauce (a cream based sauce with white wine and shallots). Purchase a banquet ticket with your conference registration (see registration form above) or by calling WWA at 608-250-9971.

The banquet presentation, Resurrection of the Bayou People: Wetlands, Hurricanes and Restoration, will connect the Upper Mississippi River basin with wetlands at the far downstream end of the Mississippi. Kerry St. Pe, Director of the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program will discuss the post-hurricanes status of Louisiana's coastal wetlands as well as restoration efforts. Click here to read more about Kerry's presentation.
